Outreach programs

Since the fall of 2024, Raison D’Etre Opera has presented 19 concerts at 15 venues throughout the Twin Cities area, generously funded by The Deaconess Community. We have presented concerts on the themes of “Songs of the Heart and the Spirit” and “100 Years of Broadway.” These concerts spread joy and foster community. We follow the concerts with a social hour where we talk with residents about their experiences with music in their lives. The residences we visit offer a continuum of care — independent living, assisted living, memory care and

skilled nursing. A large percentage of the attendees have limited mobility, so we bring the music to them!
